The high school girls wrestling meet scheduled at Keokuk tomorrow, December 14th has been cancelled.

Due to the impending weather, both by the national weather service and by our local weather station, we feel it is best to cancel tomorrow's varsity boy's dual tournament at Colfax-Mingo Community School District.

***Roundy Dismissal Guidelines*** Pick-Ups: • Children who are pick-ups will be standing on a paw print in the front of the building. Pick-Up Lane: • Using the pick-up lane is the preferred pickup method. Please stay in your vehicle in line and students will be sent to your vehicle to load. • After loading your children in your vehicle, please continue to stay in the pick-up lane. Please do not pull out of the pick-up lane before you get to the stop sign. • If you park your vehicle and are waiting for your child, please know that we will not allow them to cross the street until ALL the pick-up cars are gone. Walkers: • When walkers are dismissed, they will be using the walking path on the north side of Roundy. Please remind your child if they are walking, they need to stay on the walking path the entire way.

Due to potential weather conditions, the JH boys wrestling team will not be traveling to Sigourney tonight.  JH boys will also have no practice.

Join us tonight as we celebrate our biggest fans. Before our home wrestling meet, we will recognize the parents of the Columbus/WMU wrestlers. Introductions will start at 5:45. Wrestling will start at 6:00 PM.

Spring and the Music Trip will be here before you know it. The Music Boosters will hold a required trip meeting on Wednesday, December 18 at 6 PM in the Columbus Community High School cafeteria. Students who have signed up for the trip and their parents/guardians must attend to select roommates, sign trip forms, handle refunds, and discuss any outstanding accounts. The Boosters look forward to finalizing these plans for the excursion.

With great participation numbers in our Winter Sports, Columbus Community will be adding more competitions for our young athletes. Our JV teams will travel to Winfield/Mount Union tomorrow night. JV girls will play two quarters at 6, and the JV boys team will compete afterward at approximately 6:30 PM at Winfield/Mount Union High School.

Reminder: On Monday, December 9th, the Columbus Junior High Girls' basketball games with Winfield/Mount Union will be played at the Morning Sun Elementary School. The games will start at 4:30 PM.

On Monday, December 9th, the basketball teams will travel to Central Lee in Donnellson to compete in a crossover conference game. There will be no Girls Junior Varsity game. Boys Junior Varsity will play a full game at 6:00 PM in the old high school gym. Girls Varsity will also play at 6:00 PM in Central Lee's new facilities. Boys Varsity will play at 7:30 PM. The basketball contests will be streamed under Central Lee on HUDL Fan App.

After sweeping North Cedar at home on Thursday, the basketball teams will travel to Hillcrest Academy in Kalona to resume conference play. Order of games: Girls Junior Varsity will play two quarters at 4:00 PM. Boys Junior Varsity will play a full game at 4:30 PM. Girls Varsity will play at 6:00 PM. Boys Varsity will play at 7:30 PM. The games will be streamed on the HUDL Fan App. The basketball contests will be found under Hillcrest Academy.

Tonight the Columbus Community Schools thank several of our area basketball Sponsors! Thursday's contest is versus North Cedar with the following schedule: 4:30 - JV Girls will play 2 quarters in the Main Gym. 5:15 - JV Boys will play a full game in the Second Gym. 6:00 - Varsity Girls will play in Main Gym. 7:30 - Varsity Boys will play in Main Gym. Game will also be streamed on the HUDL Fan App. The stream will feature the voice of Coach Dave Lekwa.
