This is the time for public comment. Should you wish to address the board about an agenda item, this is the time to do so. If you choose to
address the board tonight, we ask that you keep your comments under 3 minutes. If you have an item to discuss, that is not agenda related,
please follow board policy and contact the board secretary to have your topic considered for next month’s agenda.

Citizens wishing to address the board on an unlisted agenda item must notify the board secretary no later than four calendar days prior to the
board meeting. The person making the request must state the person’s name, address, and purpose of the presentation; action desired by the
board and give any other pertinent background information. The board secretary will forward the request to the Board President and
Superintendent who may approve the request. The Board President may not choose to recognize a person to speak who is not a resident of the
Columbus Community School District. Citizens wishing to present oral or written petitions to the board may do so at the time they are given to
speak. However, the board will only receive the petitions and/or listen to the citizens. The board will take no action directly following the
presentation, but rather listen with a concerned attitude. The Board President has the discretion to limit the amount of time set aside for public
participation. If the pressures of business or other circumstances dictate, the Board President may decide to set aside this practice until another
meeting. (Board Policy 229)

Join the Wildcats softball team host the first round of regional play on Wednesday at 7 PM. The EBF Rockets will travel to take on the Columbus Wildcats in the 2A tournament. Tickets must be purchased online on the Bound website.

Due to the potential for storms this evening, the Varsity Softball game between Columbus and Lone Tree has been moved up to a 6:00 PM start time. Seniors will be recognized at 5:45 PM. There will be no JV game.

Senior Night
With the potential for rain in the evening, the Columbus Varsity Softball team will play the first game at 5:30 at Hillcrest Academy, and the Junior Varsity will play around 7 pm if weather permits. The Junior High game has been canceled.
