Reminder tonight's JH Girls Wrestling meet has been moved to Wapello High School starting at 4:30 pm.

Dear Wildcat Families: The purpose of this announcement is to inform you that Columbus CSD must schedule weather make-up days in order to remain compliant with Iowa Code §279.10(1), which requires districts in Iowa to have a minimum of 1,080 hours of instruction during the school year. Because of several recent weather delays and cancellations, Columbus CSD must add two additional days to our school calendar, which include:
--Monday, February 19 (weather make-up day)
--Friday, May 24 (weather make-up day)
The District recognizes this change will impact parents/guardians, staff, students, and community members, so please plan accordingly. If more delays and cancellations occur this semester, a further determination will be made for how to make up those hours up and this determination will be communicated to all in a timely fashion.

Columbus CSD will have a 2 hour delay on Tuesday, January 23, due to road conditions. Buses will continue to run on hard surfaces only. Breakfast will not be served due to the delay.

Columbus CSD will run buses on hard surface only through the end of the week, Friday, January 26th.

The Junior high boys' basketball game on 1/22/2024 has been canceled.
The Junior High girls wrestling meet at Wapello on 1/22/24 has be canceled.
They will have practice on right after school.
